There is a national programme to provide schools and settings with practical support for curriculum and assessment design and build on the Curriculum for Wales guidance

The programme involves access to a bilingual asynchronous tool which articulates clear expectations of curriculum design and provides practical support and exemplification.

Over 200 schools have already taken part in the programme. The programme will be extended during the 2025 to 2026 academic year, with schools automatically assigned to the next available cohort. There will be 10 sessions which will provide time for initial input, practical delivery and reflection.

To take part, please complete the expression of interest form. Each participating school and setting will receive 2 places (1 senior leader and 1 practitioner). The programme is fully funded by Welsh Government via local authority payments. Each participating school and setting will receive £300 per session.

As part of the programme, the following resources are available.
